Meet Jimmy

Professional Experience

Jimmy is responsible for auditing and accounting of for-profit entities including real estate LLCs, nursing homes, automotive and equipment dealers, information technology entities, franchisors, distributors and retail companies. For these clients, Jimmy also devotes a significant amount of time and effort toward client income and estate/gift tax planning and compliance matters. He is accredited to perform business valuations with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, and frequently utilizes this knowledge in client situations. Additionally, Jimmy performs peer reviews for CPA firms across the country, under the Peer Review Program of the AICPA.

Professional Affiliation

As a member of the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSCPA), Jimmy is the current Treasurer; has served as a past member of the Board of Governors; is an active member of the Peer Review Committee; and has served on a number of other committees, including the Audit and Accounting Committee. Jimmy is also an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As an active member of the Estate Planning Council of Mississippi, he served as the former president and a board member.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Jimmy's community involvement includes being an active member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi, currently or having served as a deacon, Life Group leader, and on various committees; treasurer for the Foundation to Eradicate Duchenne (Muscular Dystrophy); current vice-chairman and Finance Committee member of the St. Catherine’s Village Board of Directors; and member of the Advisory Committee for Macedonia Call Foundation.
